Bricking it

Now that Settle Carlisle is out I can show my brick farm buildings. Like many of the things I start they end up in an RSC route.

A simple Wearhead large stone barn. Variations of size and shape will be made using the same texture.

Sunday Barn

Just a quick generic barn, a stone and brick version to follow, but they will have their own shapes.

Only uses one 1024/512 texture.

Wear do I start?

Having spent a few hours wondering around what I had done, I ripped up all that had gone before (terrain and assets at Wearhead) and started from scratch.

Up until now I have pretty much just been tinkering.

So here is the start, only a few assets but I was focusing on trying to get the right feel. It is kind of refreshing starting from scratch.

spring has sprung!

It was fun cutting out the leaves! But it was worth it I think.

I am going to make small/medium and large versions of my new trees so that they can be used in a number of different places. The trouble with the core ones is that the were just to bulky.
