I was browsing a few photos of the Tees Valley line up to Middleton when I suddenly came across your conjectural representation of Romaldkirk halt.
Well done you!
The only anomaly being that the NER did not ever use MR fencing slats aleays facing southwards to St Pancreas. My earliest memories of Romaldkirk date back to about 1955 so after Nationalisation little changed. Then we lost the service in 1964 and all opportunities ceased then.
My grandfather lived in Romaldkirk after World War 1 so for a nipper such as myself, Co Durham seemed like very heaven.
Good luck with the night-time have- beens!
Yours steaming on, Alistair Kewish ( Mr) Ringstead in Northants ( yes, even this little village had its own halt (LNW)
