Only 2 more barns to go...

Navvy Bob continues...

As you can see the connections from Bishop to Barnard Castle and Darlington are complete. Durham and Crook still to do.

Weardale house 02

Farmhouse stone02

By changing the base texture from one local stone to another, (which is the roof and walls) I have given my farmhouse a different feel.
However if I re jiggle it about I will create a different shape making it feel even more different.
Small changes can make all the difference and you don't have to re invent the wheel each time.
A few hours on steet view give me plenty of inspiration.

Wor Barn part 2

Stone Farmhouse

Using the same base texture from the stone barn I have created the Main farm house. I made a texture that includes windows and doors.

With the 3 textures made I am now able to create a number of different Stone Farm out buildings.
Also By creating a 2nd or 3rd stone variation I will have all I need to populate upper Weardale farms (of which there are many!)

Weardale to Teesdale

Via Darlo!

Oh and by the way, when it comes to versions of Darlington, there can only be one... and it will be the one I make.

Bricking it

Now that Settle Carlisle is out I can show my brick farm buildings. Like many of the things I start they end up in an RSC route.

stoned

A simple Wearhead large stone barn. Variations of size and shape will be made using the same texture.

Sunday Barn

Just a quick generic barn, a stone and brick version to follow, but they will have their own shapes.
Only uses one 1024/512 texture.
