Excellent historic aerial photo's o...Hi Derek,<br /><br />Excellent historic aerial photo's of England are available from the National Monument Record - give them the OS references and get photocopies of what is available - tell them that you are interested in the railway - then mark the areas of interest on these copies - send them back and get close ups done - they will zoom in as far as the resolution allows. The detail is amazing. The record goes from about 1945 to about 1956 and is significantly bettr than the Google images. BTW on the enlargements get laser copies not photo's which are prohibitively expensive. I hope this is of help to you.
